73rd IMC meeting of ICAR-NINFET
March 11, 2022, Kolkata:
The 73rd meeting of the Institute Management Committee (IMC) of ICAR-NINFET was held in hybrid mode here today. Eleven members representing from ICAR Head Quarters, R&D Organizations of ICAR, State Government Departments of West Bengal & Bihar have participated in this meeting which was Chaired by Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director. Shri Navin Kumar Jha, SAO and Member Secretary has welcomed the participants and briefed them about the initiatives taken at institute level for better management of resources.
Chairman Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director briefed the members on the salient achievements of the institute made in Research, Extension and Administrative areas. Dr. S. B. Roy, Pr. Scientist, Transfer of Technology Division has delivered a lucid lecture on the institute’s progress over the year. The members have expressed their satisfaction over the action taken by the Institute on recommendations of the 72nd IMC meeting and also the settlement of the audit paras. The Committee also showed satisfaction on expenditure in current financial year.
The meeting ended with hearty vote of thanks to Chairman & Members by Shri Navin Kumar Jha, Member Secretary.
