Celebration of Swachhta Pakhwada (16-31 Dec., 2020) at ICAR-NINFET
ICAR-NINFET observed Swachhta Pakhwada during 16-31, Dec., 2020. Pakhwada started with pledge taking by all staff members followed by various activities such as cleanliness drive at institute campus, awareness campaigning at MGMG adopted village, celebration of Farmer’s Day, digitization of office records and library books, tree plantation, essay writing competition, debate competition and poster competition. A special lecture on swachhta delivered by Dr. D.P. Ray. Swachhta Pakhwada ended with celebration of valedictory function on 31.12.2020. Sh. Arunava Roy, Asst. Director of Program, East Zone, Doordarshan Kendra, Kolkata graced the Chair as a Chief Guest. He mentioned importance of cleanliness in our society. He also addressed the audience regarding clean environment and the responsibility of the citizen to keep our globe clean and green.
