ICAR-NINFET organized Training Programme on “Awareness on Effective Cleanliness for Housekeeping & Sanitary Staff” during August 26-28, 2021

A three days offline training programme on “Awareness on Effective Cleanliness for Housekeeping & Sanitary Staff” has been organized by the ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata during 26-28 August, 2021.

The various topics related to Basics of housekeeping, Attitude & Mental ability of Housekeeping personnel, Proper use of tools & kits in sanitization & housekeeping, Sanitation in office premises, Safety measures in housekeeping & sanitation, Health & hygiene for sanitary Staff, Do’s & Don’ts in housekeeping & sanitization work, Covid protocol in housekeeping and sanitization etc.  were covered during these three days. A total of 16 participants participated in the offline training programme.

In his address, Dr. Subhrajyoti Bhowmick, Clinical Director, Peerless Hospitex & Research Centre and Chief Guest of the Session appraised the house regarding the role of housekeeping and sanitary staffs for maintaining the effective cleanliness in the office premises.

Dr. D. B. Shakyawar, Director ICAR-NINFET emphasized that such programs enable participants’ mental health to providing a safe, hygienic, clean, aesthetically pleasing and conducive working atmosphere.

Dr. S. N. Chattopadhyay, Head, Chemical & Biochemical Processing Division urged for organizing such kind training especially at the context of Covid-19.

Dr. D. P. Ray, Pr. Scientist & Nodal Officer, HRD Cell emphasized that the training will improve the effective cleanliness of all category of staff.

The entire training programme was coordinated by Sh. Chanchal Kundu, T.O and Sh. Prosenjit Sanyal, CTO as programme coordinators. The training programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Nilimesh Mridha, Scientist of the institute.
