ICAR-NINFET organized Training Programme on “Awareness Programme of Security Personnel” during September 02-06, 2021

A four days offline training programme on “Awareness Programme of Security Personnel” has been organized by the ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata during September 02-06, 2021.

The various topics related to security rules in government offices, fire safety and lifesaving, disaster management, first aid and CPR, incident management, physical and mental aspects of security personnel, and physical and digital securityetc.  were covered during these four days. A total of 16 participants participated in the offline training programme.

In his address, Shri Sujay Banerjee, Fire Training Officer, WB Fire and Emergency Services and Chief Guest of the Inaugural Session appraised the house regarding the role of security personnel for maintaining the effective security in the office premises.

Dr. D. B. Shakyawar, Director ICAR-NINFET emphasized that such programs enable participants’ effectiveness and secured working atmosphere.

Dr. S. N. Chattopadhyay, Head, Chemical & Biochemical Processing Division urged for organizing such kind training especially at the context of improved security.

Dr. D. P. Ray, Pr. Scientist & Nodal Officer, HRD Cell emphasized that the training will improve the security system of the institute.

Dr. Saptarishi Saha, Consultant Emergency Medicine, Peerless Hospitals, Kolkata demonstrated CPR to the participants.

The entire training programme was coordinated by Dr. Rakesh Kumar Ghosh, Scientist and Sh. Pintu Nandi, TO as programme coordinator and co-coordinator, respectively. The training programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Rakesh Kumar Ghosh, Scientist.
